The 18th Pujiang Innovation Forum 2025, co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, will be held in Shanghai from September 20th to 22nd, 2025. Under the long-term theme of "Sharing Innovation and Shaping the Future", this year’s forum will focus on the annual theme of "Building an Open and Cooperative Global Sci-Tech Community." The Country of Honor is the Republic of Belarus, and the Province of Honor is Liaoning Province.

The annual conference will feature a "1+1+30+2+2+X" lineup of activities including 1 opening ceremony, 1 main forum, approximately 30 sub-forums, 2 exhibition and matchmaking events (the InnoMatch Tech-Matching Fair and the WeStart Entrepreneurial Investment Conference), 2 special dialogues and a series of side events, including the China-Belarus Sci-Tech Innovation Cooperation Achievements Exhibition, Youth Innovation Hub(Y-HUBs), Scientific Researh Achievements Release, innovation competition, and more.

The forum's agenda centers on timely priorities: Forging global innovation networks to discuss seizing opportunities in the tech revolution and pursuing win-win collaboration models that energize the global economy; Cultivating innovation ecosystems by promoting science-based approaches, facilitating knowledge sharing, and enabling the movement of resources; Governing emerging technologies to address the healthy development of AI and similar technologies while improving global governance frameworks; Tackling global challenges through equitable access to technological achievements and leveraging science for climate action—collectively shaping a sustainable future.

Global leaders across government, academia, business, and the tech industry will convene at the Pujiang Innovation Forum. Through robust dialogues and in-depth cooperation, they will jointly advance an innovation-driven, open and inclusive, equitable global science and technology community—ensuring shared prosperity, accessible benefits and sustainable progress.
