The 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum was held in Shanghai on Sept 20 to 22. Themed "Building an Open and Cooperative Global Sci-tech Community", the forum focused on future technological trends and global challenges, aiming to foster deep dialogue and collaboration.

​Pujiang X (DOME), the nation's first embodied intelligence standardized dataset platform, is unveiled at the 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum.

During the forum, the humanoid robot dataset standard, developed by the Shanghai Robot Industrial Technology Research Institute in collaboration with 19 industrial, academic, and research institutions, was released.

Additionally, Pujiang X (DOME), China's first embodied intelligence standardized dataset platform, developed by the institute in partnership with Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Tongji University, was unveiled.

Both the standard and the platform provide crucial support for the standardization and large-scale development of humanoid robots.

The "Pujiang X" platform aims to offer large-scale, high-quality, standardized data resources for the research and application of embodied intelligence. It addresses key industry challenges such as data scarcity, inconsistent standards, and data fragmentation, thus laying a solid data infrastructure for scientific innovation and industrial application.

As an integral part of the Pujiang Innovation Forum, the 2025 InnoMatch Expo was held concurrently. Taopu Smart City organized seven innovative companies to participate in the event, showcasing the region's scientific and technological prowess and its new image of openness and cooperation. The Taopu Smart City booths presented advanced achievements in life health, new energy, and the Internet, attracting numerous professional visitors and expanding collaboration opportunities.

A rowing race for over 50 young scientists from the forum was also held at Putuo's Suzhou Creek Water Sports Center to foster cross-disciplinary networking and collaboration. Zhong Haozhang, the founder of a technology company in Putuo, said he sees the rowing event as a great opportunity to meet experts from areas such as computer science and medicine. "Today, we collaborated in a sporting event, and in the future, we might have the chance to collaborate in industry."
